The International Chemistry Olympiad is one of the leading global scientific competitions for high-school students.
Established in 1968, it brings together students from more than 80 countries to compete in advanced theoretical and practical chemistry challenges. The 2027 edition will be hosted in Taipei, Taiwan, from 19 to 28 July 2027.

The competition takes place 19–28 July 2027 in Taipei. The full national registration, qualifying, and training schedule is being finalized and will be published here soon.
The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity, a center of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, invites Kuwaiti male and female students from public and private schools in grades 9, 10, and 11 to participate.
The examination consists of multiple-choice questions and aims to assess students' levels and to set the standards for the training programme that follows.
